Nature Walk | Monarch Butterfly Migration Field Study and Tagging Workshop
Join Biocore instructor Seth McGee for a hands-on field excursion investigating the remarkable migration of monarch butterflies. Participants will learn safe techniques for catching and tagging butterflies to support research tracking their journey to Mexico. The session also covers monarch natural history, ecology, conservation strategies, and practical methods for creating pollinator-friendly habitats in home yards. Open to all ages.
