Once a business or organization claims an account, they may manage eligible listing information through available account features.
5. Event Discovery Information and User Interactions
5.1 Anonymous Website Interactions
TheCityCal allows visitors to interact with the platform without creating an account.
Visitors may be able to:
- Favorite events;
- Favorite businesses or organizations;
- Share events;
- Save events to a calendar.
For users who are not logged in, these actions are not tied to a personal account or identified individual profile.
5.2 Anonymous Activity Tracking
TheCityCal may collect anonymous usage information about interactions with listings, including:
- Number of times an event is favorited;
- Number of times an event is shared;
- Number of times an event is saved to a calendar;
- Number of times a business or organization is favorited.
This information helps TheCityCal understand platform usage and may allow businesses or organizations to view aggregate engagement information related to their listings.
Businesses and organizations do not receive information identifying individual users who interacted with their content.
5.3 Favorites and Local Storage
For visitors who are not logged in, favorites and certain preferences may be stored locally on the user's device through browser storage.
This means:
- Favorites and saved filter or search preferences (such as a saved ZIP code, distance, or region selection) are stored within the user's browser or device;
- They are not stored as an identifiable account profile;
- They may be removed if the user clears browser data or local storage.
TheCityCal may separately collect anonymous interaction totals, but these totals are not intended to identify individual users.
5.4 Future User Profiles
TheCityCal may introduce additional user account features in the future, including personalized profiles, saved preferences, or enhanced discovery tools.

- Other information intended to be available to the public.
TheCityCal does not claim ownership of the underlying facts, businesses, organizations, events, or publicly available information provided by third parties.
TheCityCal's role is to organize, categorize, format, and present information in a way that makes local discovery easier for users.

6.3 Claimed Listings and Account Management
When a business, organization, or event organizer creates an account, TheCityCal may associate existing listings related to that organization with the claimed account.
This allows account holders to review and manage eligible information through available account features.
Once an account is claimed, account holders are responsible for maintaining accurate information associated with their listings.
6.4 User-Submitted Content
Users, businesses, organizations, and event organizers may voluntarily submit information to TheCityCal, including:

By submitting information to TheCityCal, you acknowledge that you have the right and authority to provide that information.
You are responsible for ensuring that submitted information:
- Is accurate to the best of your knowledge;
- Does not violate another person's or organization's rights;
- Does not contain unauthorized copyrighted material;
- Does not include misleading or fraudulent information.

Information submitted to TheCityCal may be used to:
- Display listings and event information;

TheCityCal does not claim ownership of the underlying facts or third-party information used to create event listings.
